Knowledge Base now on-line

A new web site is introduced that houses Pro:Man Knowledge.

ELMA, NY - 07/01/00 -- Automated Computer Solutions announces a new web site that holds the knowledge base for Pro:Man software. All U.S. and International users under support contract will have access to this site as part of their annual support.

The goal of the site is to provide Pro:Man users with current, up-to-date, knowledge to enable them to implement and utilize Pro:Man software more efficiently and cost effectively. The site is housed by a state of the art Apache web server on a high speed internet connection. The site includes many hyper links as well as a search engine. The site will continuously change and be expanded by a team of Pro:Man professionals.

The site contains more than 30,000 documents, with additions added daily. It contains current documentation for all of the system as well as many business process flow charts and hints. All process documentation, such as purpose, process responsibilities, sample screens, sample reports, operator instructions, logic, and a roadmap, are provided.

Navigation through the site is provided through a variety of methods:

1. A search engine based on keyword searches.
2. An alphabetical glossary of process data entry screens and reports (fastkeys).
3. A graphical business process map.
